Internship

Internship programs at Southwestern State College (SWSC) are designed as a core bridge between academic instruction and professional practice, particularly for final-year students in programs like BBM, BCA, and BSW. The college actively facilitates mandatory field work and 6- to 8-week internship placements by issuing official recommendation letters and connecting students with host organizations. Students gain hands-on experience across various sectors, including commercial banks, financial institutions, tech companies, corporate agencies, and NGOs/INGOs in Kathmandu. Throughout the internship, SWSC assigns faculty supervisors to guide students in applying classroom theories to real-world tasks, keeping field logbooks, and completing formal project reports required for their university degree evaluation.
